HONG KONG, Aug. 21 (Xinhua) — An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.9 jolted 220 km SSE of Katabu, Indonesia at 04:09:52 GMT on Friday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 627.33 km, was initially determined to be at 6.6704 degrees south latitude and 123.4927 degrees east longitude.
